Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to some common questions about online diet and exercise coaching, as well as the company.
How Online Coaching Works
How do I work with a Fitness Coach online?
You tell me your goals and the equipment you have available, if any, for exercising. From there I design a program tailored to your goals, injury or surgical history, age, current fitness level, and available time. The plan is then sent to you with video demonstrations of all movements and clear instructions for how to perform them. As your program progresses, we stay in communication so I can address any questions, monitor your results, and make any necessary adjustments to keep you on track toward your goals.
Is the diet plan hard?
The plan is crafted around the foods you love, with delicious recipes, easy-to-follow instructions, and a personalized grocery list—all tailored to fit your busy schedule. A sustainable diet plan should be enjoyable, convenient, nutritious, and aligned with your unique goals. With this approach, food becomes your ally, working with you to achieve results without adding extra stress. This isn’t about restriction; it’s about creating a plan that effortlessly fits into your life while helping you reach your goals and enjoy the process. So in short no.
Do I need to be at a certain fitness level before starting?
Not at all! You don’t need a fitness background or special skills to get started—just the decision to begin. Think about this: if you can walk to the fridge or climb a flight of stairs, you’re already capable of movement, and movement is the foundation of fitness. The best time to start was yesterday, but the next best time is today. From improving your balance and mobility to jumping into the world of Olympic lifting, there’s an option out there that can make a difference in your life. Take the first step, and you’ll be amazed at how quickly small efforts turn into big changes. Why wait? You determine your future.
How does exercising differ for beginners and experts?
Duration, intensity and specificity. Where someone just starting may need to do three full body workouts that are 30 minutes each week with a light warm up and cooldown. Someone that is a highly trained competitive athlete will need workouts specified for different muscle groups that are much more intense and between 60-120 minutes in addition to cardiovascular training and active recovery days. It all comes down to the specific goals, fitness level, and lifestyle of the client. Everyone is different, everyone's goals are different. That is why your program needs to be customized for you!
Do you send me supplements?
no... BUT I will provide you with my clinical recommendation for the supplements that could help you achieve your unique goals. However, supplements are not included in the cost of the diet or workout program, and they are not necessary for most goals. My focus is on creating a personalized plan that aligns with your specific needs, and supplements are only recommended if they can enhance your progress.
Can I get any type of plan?
No, Burton Biohacking will not do any plan that does not promote the health of the client. For now it is just me, but the business model of the company is to teach people how they can naturally and healthily achieve their health or fitness goals. Vegan and Vegetarian plans have no ability to provide proper protein. If you want to hurt yourself through diet, I will play no part in that neither would any ethical professional. Veganism and vegetarianism are not healthy as they do not allow for adequate natural nutrient uptake by the human body.
Do I need a Gym membership?
Not necessarily. While a barbell is, in my professional opinion, the best singular piece of fitness equipment, you do not need one to be healthy or fit. If you prefer going to a gym with a wide variety of equipment, it can be helpful, but it's not essential. For those just starting their fitness journey, bodyweight workouts are incredibly effective for improving health and fitness. However, if you aim to be a competitive athlete, access to weights—either at home or in a gym—will be necessary to achieve optimal performance.
How do you help me correct my form?
For all exercises I ask you to perform there will be a video with a proper demonstration of the movement for you to mimic. By having you send me videos of you performing the exercise and comparing them I can help you ensure you are doing the movements in a way that is genuinely going to help you achieve your fitness goals.
What is a Food Swap Guide?
The Food Swap Guide is a condensed version of the Food Swap Bible, providing a clear overview of how to swap foods in your diet to make it more enjoyable and give you flexibility when eating out. While you might not find a specific dish like a spicy Thai pork bowl or carnivore pizza at a restaurant, the meal plans and the guide are designed to help you find similar options that fit into your plan with ease. The Food Swap Bible is simply a more extensive version of the same guide, offering even more options and variety.

Value
At Burton Biohacking, I combine experience, education, and skill without resorting to price gouging. Every plan I create is fully personalized—no cookie-cutter solutions. Similar online three-month packages from other companies, offering less comprehensive guides and limited e-mail exclusive communication, can cost upwards of $2,000. In-person training with a trainer three times a week typically starts at $500 per month. I believe price should never be a barrier to reaching your health and fitness goals, especially in corporate fitness, where it often is. My pricing reflects my commitment to providing real value, shaped by my experiences in corporate settings. People deserve better, and that’s why I keep my prices client-friendly.
